Forte Partners announces that Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR) has signed a lease contract for 18,000 sqm in The Bridge office project, located near Basarab overpass. BCR is to consolidate here its Bucharest business head office premises on five floors and will also open aretail unit at the ground floor.BCR started the selection process of its new headquarters over a year ago and chose The Bridge following a rigorous analysis of the existing real estate market offers, addressing the needs of the bank, which is currently located in 15 central buildings. This complex transaction was assisted by Knight Frank Romania and with the legal support of NNDKP.
“Finalizing the deal with BCR confirms us the fact that we are developing one of the most efficient business parks from the Bucharest real estate market, answering even to the most demanding requirements of the clients”, said Geo Margescu, Founder& CEO, Forte Partners.
The business park will be erected in two phases on 15, Orhideelor Street, on the land of the former bread factory, Spicul, the value of the entire project exceeding 80 million EUR. The first phase consists in a building with a gross lettable area of 36,189 sq. m. The estimated delivery date for this construction is September 2017.The Bridge offer on the Bucharest office market is an extremely competitive one, due both to the largefloor surface of 3,500 sq. m (which allows the tenants to horizontally consolidate their activities) and to the technical specifications that meet the most rigorous standards on the market.
