Real estate developer Forte Partners secured a 50 million EUR loan from UniCredit for financing the first phase of The Bridge office project. Reff&Asociatii, the law firm member of Deloitte Legal, assisted Forte Partners on this financing deal, while UniCredit Bank was assisted by Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii.

“The signing of this important contract confirms the value of this business park as well as the trust that our project benefits from”, said Geo Margescu, CEO & Founder Forte Partners, adding: “We have 50% of the first phase leased and we are convinced that we will reach 100% level before delivery. As regards the market value of the project, it reached 80 million EUR for the first phase”.

The Bridge is being developed on Orhideea Road 15C, on the grounds of the former bread factory Spicul, in two stages. The construction works for Phase 1 should be completed by September 2017 and the main contractor is Bog’Art. The Bridge is designed taking into consideration the latest worldwide trends for green buildings, the business park going to be certified as LEED GOLD. The architecture firm which designed the project is Epstein, the company being also designated as LEED assessor for this business center. The future tents will benefit from major reduction of maintenance costs due to the developer’s investment in performing systems, which reduce electrical and heating energy costs.
